Please note: Tenshi Treasures’ keepsake animals and other items are made in a household that not only also houses one husband and two children but also two cats. If you’re allergic to cats and have doubts about purchasing anything, please message me first.
General information
Tenshi Treasures offers custom made keepsakes or ready-made items. Ready-made items are offered on the website or on the Tenshi Treasures Facebook page. Order slots for custom orders are offered on the website, on Facebook or can be reserved on request, either via e-mail or Messenger.
Tenshi Treasures primarily makes keepsakes from fabric made for babywearing. These items are meant as keepsakes and are not safety tested. They are are made to endure. Backed with woven interfacing and double stitched with high quality polyester thread, your (custom) Tenshi Treasures items are made to last.
Be advised that any items with plastic safety eyes and/or noses (as opposed to felt or fabric eyes and/or noses) are especially unsuitable for children under 3 years of age. The small parts are a potential choke hazard. It is generally recommended to not let small children under the age of 3 play unsupervised with Tenshi Treasures items.
Because accidents do happen, Tenshi Treasures keepsakes can be cleaned/washed. Spot cleaning or hand washing is very much preferred, but if the situation requires it, you may wash your item in a trusted machine. Use the wool setting, low temperature (cold), with no spin cycle (or a very low one, if you machine allows it). Especially items stuffed with organic kapok will get very heavy when wet and may lose their shape when a spin cycle is used, so take that into consideration. Never tumble dry, not even on the ‘no heat’ setting!
Prices
Prices displayed (when not logged in) all include VAT. Tenshi Treasures calculates Dutch VAT (21%) to all EU countries. No VAT will be calculated for orders shipping to countries outside of the EU. This may not apply to any orders from other businesses. Please contact Tenshi Treasures if you have any specific questions on this topic.
Payment
When purchasing ready-made items from the website, the full amount is automatically calculated, including the correct shipping costs. Payment is due immediately, by iDEAL, Bank transfer, Bancontact, SOFORT or PayPal.
Full custom orders are put on the order list by paying 10% of the full custom order amount, with a minimum of €10. Your spot on the order list is definitive after payment has been processed. The remaining amount is due upon completion of your order. Invoices and payments for full custom orders are done using PayPal but can be done via the website, using the website’s payment methods, on request.
Payments will be confirmed, either via e-mail (if done via the website) or via e-mail or Messenger (if done in another way). Once fully paid, the purchased item(s) will be shipped.

Prior to sending your fabric, e-mail or message Tenshi Treasures about it. Once sent, share the tracking code. When sending untracked, be aware that Tenshi Treasures accepts no liability regarding lost parcels. Regardless of shipping method, the sender is responsible for the sent item(s) up until and including delivery at the correct address.
Make sure the fabric has the correct dimensions, is in a good state and is pre-washed using a suitable washing method and detergent. This will clean the fabric and pre-shrink it. Keepsakes are meant to be kept, not used, but in case one needs to be washed, it’s a good thing if the fabric has shrunk already.
You are responsible for any shipping costs and any extra costs incurred such as customs and handling fees. Any such fees will be added to the final invoice, or will be separately invoiced to you.
Shipping
Ready-made items are shipped within 1-5 working days. Custom orders are shipped in the month designated as the month your custom order is due. You will receive an e-mail when your items are shipped.
Delivery
You as the customer are responsible for any extra costs incurred during transition, such as added taxes or duty/customs fees. As a business Tenshi Treasures will declare full value on customs forms wherever applicable. Items should be delivered within 7 working days within EU and within 14 working days outside of the EU, but delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances. If you’re worried about any delays, just send a message or e-mail.
Returns and refunds
Tenshi Treasures always aims to make your custom keepsakes as you’d envisioned them. Pictures are made to try and represent any ready-made items as clearly as possible. However if anything is damaged or not what you have ordered, please send a message or e-mail within 5 days of receipt of the item(s) to arrange a replacement or refund. This is only valid for unused items that have been returned in their original condition. In case a replacement cannot be made due to no more fabric being available, or similar reasons, a refund will be issued.
If the 5 day term mentioned above has expired, Tenshi Treasures reserves the right to refuse a replacement or refund. The item(s) must be sent back with shipping to be paid by you. After confirmation that the item is indeed faulty or incorrect, shipping costs will be refunded.
For custom keepsake items, no refunds are possible, unless they are faulty or incorrect due to a mistake on Tenshi Treasures’ part. Where there is no fault but you are unhappy with the appearance, an agreement may be made to try and alter the item for a fee – to be decided on per case – with postage to be paid by you. No refunds or exchanges are possible on used or customer damaged items.
Some design decisions are made while cutting and/or assembling your keepsake item(s). If you feel strongly about pattern placement or other design decisions, make sure to inform Tenshi Treasures when placing your order or at least before work on your order starts.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Cancellation
You can cancel your order and receive a full refund for the price paid for 14 days from the day your order is placed. This does not apply to any customised or custom made items made especially for you that work has already started on.
If you wish to cancel you must contact Tenshi Treasures by e-mail or in writing (Tenshi Treasures, Henriette van der Meystraat 31, 2331SG Leiden, The Netherlands) before the end of the 5th working day after receiving your order. You are responsible for the return postage to us but after receipt of the item(s) in original condition, the full price paid, including original postage, will be refunded.
Supply
All of Tenshi Treasures’ orders are subject to availability. Tenshi Treasures reserves the right to refuse to supply any individual or company.
Copyright
All designs used are either free patterns or are used according to their corresponding user agreement that has been agreed to upon purchasing the pattern(s). Every album contains a link to the maker of the particular pattern used. If you have made a pattern used here and you’re not credited appropriately, please let me know so I can rectify it by sending an e-mail to pam@tenshi-treasures.com.
A few patterns have been adapted to better suit my needs. If that is the case, the text will mention that. Any Tenshi Treasures original patterns are copyrighted by Tenshi Treasures, no reproduction allowed. Tenshi Treasures reserves the right to use its own pictures of items created for marketing purposes.
Disclaimer
Tenshi Treasures strives to make sure all the info on the website and Facebook page/group is correct and up to date. All measurements are approximate and may vary per item. The appearance of items may vary greatly due to the materials used for each one. Items that do not exactly match the product example pictures on the website will not be replaced or refunded.
